A Bit About Me A Bit About Me
Born and raised in the city of Nashua, New Hampshire. Spanish is my second language. My Area of education is an Associate degree in Early Childhood and I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Business Management concentrated in Public Administration that I will obtain by the end of this fall. I have participated in various trainings for nonprofits throughout the state of New Hampshire. I have worked as an assistant director, field manager, outreach assistant, a paraprofessional and after school teacher. I currently help assist Community Engagement Training Center, by teaching English to newcomers and Citizenship classes. These positions have enhanced my skills and understand the importance of building relationships and to work for the best interests for children and families. By providing resources, translating documents, supporting interpretation, and ensuring that communities are valued and gain knowledge of what is happening in their neighborhoods.
Born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico I moved to the United States 35 years ago. I have lived in the city of Nashua for 25 years, for the past 5 years I have dedicated my free time working and providing advocacy for the community attending community events, informing newcomers of resources and filing out documentation and being an interpreter when needed. So volunteering at the Community Center for the past two years is necessary as there is a need in the community of Nashua, and I'm glad to be a part of the team.
